Winter Has Arrived to Niseko

Heavy Snow Hirafu Village.

There is no doubt that Niseko is the snowiest resort in the world. With seasonal snowfalls averaging over 16 metres in recent years, Niseko has become a place of legend amongst the global ski and snowboard world.

The perfectly fluffy, powdery snow creates a magical environment both on and off mountain, and once the tap turns on it just seems to keep falling, until some time in March. There never seems to be a question of will it snow but rather will it stop?

November 11, and we had our first heavy snowfall which has transformed the resort into a winter paradise. As the resort prepares for open day on the 23rd of November, the real question is where will you be skiing this winter?
