Job description:
Explore Niseko is currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Booking Consultant for the upcoming winter season. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and international team in one of the world’s premier ski destinations.
As a Booking Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests by assisting with all aspects of their activity and travel arrangements. From initial inquiry to final booking, you will ensure a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience that helps guests make the most of their time in Niseko.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries via phone, email, and online chat, offering personalized assistance and detailed information on accommodations, activities, and services.
Assist guests in booking accommodations, transportation, lift tickets, equipment rentals, and additional amenities, creating custom vacation packages tailored to individual preferences and budgets.
Coordinate with activity and service partners to confirm reservations and ensure all booking details are accurate and up to date.
Process payments and manage booking-related administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proactively follow up with guests to confirm reservations, provide pre-arrival information, and address any questions or concerns to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Explore Niseko’s offerings, as well as local attractions, events, and services, in order to provide expert recommendations and up-to-date advice to guests.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or the travel industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of client relations and guest services.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a friendly and professional demeanor, able to build rapport quickly and clearly convey information.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese or other languages is a plus and would be considered an asset.
A genuine passion for outdoor activities, travel, and exploring new destinations, with a strong interest in winter sports and the Niseko region.
Valid International Driver's License required for occasional travel between locations.
Must have or be eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa.

¥10,000 Staff Accommodation - located in Hirafu, Niseko, Kutchan, or Annupuri.
Full-time Employment, including paid training - Work with us from December 1st, 2025 to February 25th, 2026, with the possibility of extending your contract depending on availability and performance.
Competitive Pay - Earn ¥1300 per hour with an estimated 34 to 40 hours per week.
