Explore Niseko is a leading activities booking center and provider in the renowned Niseko area of Hokkaido, Japan. Explore Niseko is looking for a creative, motivated, and energetic Content Creator to join our team for the upcoming winter season.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about photography, videography, social media, and storytelling, and who enjoys being outdoors and working in a fast-paced winter environment.

As a Content Creator, you will work closely with our marketing team to create engaging photo and video content for Explore Niseko and our range of activities and experiences. You will also be responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos of our guests while they enjoy their experiences.

The ideal candidate is confident both behind the camera and in the editing room, with a good eye for composition, storytelling, and creating content that performs well across social media platforms.

• Create high-quality photo and video content for Explore Niseko's marketing and social media channels.

• Plan, shoot, and edit engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, websites, advertising campaigns, and other marketing channels.

• Take professional photos and videos of guests participating in Explore Niseko activities and experiences.

• Capture action, lifestyle, landscape, and behind-the-scenes content throughout the Niseko winter season.

• Work closely with the marketing team to develop content ideas and execute creative campaigns.

• Edit photography and video footage to a professional standard, including color correction, sound, music, transitions, and basic motion graphics where appropriate.

• Create short-form vertical content specifically for social media platforms.

• Organize and maintain photo and video files and footage.

• Help identify opportunities for new and engaging content across Explore Niseko's range of products and activities.

• Occasionally accompany guides and guests on activities to capture authentic content and experiences.

• Ensure guests are comfortable and engaged while being photographed or filmed.

• Maintain a consistent visual style and brand image across all content.

• Assist with other marketing and content-related tasks as required.

• Perform other tasks as requested by management.

• Proven experience in photography and videography; please submit a portfolio.

• Strong understanding of photography, composition, lighting, and camera operation.

• Experience shooting and editing video for social media.

• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.

• Ability to create engaging short-form content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

• Must have your own professional or semi-professional photography/video equipment suitable for shooting in winter conditions. This should include a camera, appropriate lenses, and the necessary accessories for photo and video production.

• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in cold and snowy conditions.

• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently while also collaborating with a marketing team.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.

• Friendly and confident personality with the ability to interact naturally with guests while taking photos and videos.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese or other languages is a plus.

• A genuine passion for photography, video, outdoor activities, travel, and winter sports.

• Skiing or snowboarding experience is strongly preferred.

• Valid International Driver's License required for occasional travel between locations.

• Must have or be eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa.

• ¥15,000 Staff Accommodation - located in Hirafu, Niseko, Kutchan, or Annupuri.

• Full-time Employment, including paid training - Work with us from November 15th, 2026 to March 15th, 2027.

• Competitive Pay - Earn ¥1300 non-guide, with an estimated 34 to 40 hours per week.
