Job Description:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced ski instructors to join our team for the upcoming winter season. As a ski instructor at Hokkaido Core Snowsports, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for skiing with guests of all ages and skill levels. Whether teaching beginners the basics or helping advanced skiers refine their technique, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ski lessons in accordance with the Hokkaido Core Snowsports teaching methodology

• Provide personalized instruction tailored to each guest's skill level and learning style

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests while on the slopes

• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment

• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the resort and local area

• Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional guest service

• Drive the guests to the resort and back, and provide additional guest services(depending on the type of lesson)

Qualifications:

• Native Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) speaker

• Fluent in English; additional language skills (e.g., Japanese) are a plus

• Certified ski instructor (e.g., PSIA, CSIA, BASI, etc.)

• Additional certifications (e.g., Snowboarding, AST, etc.) are a plus

• Previous teaching or coaching experience in a private lesson environment preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups of all ages

• Can legally work in Japan (either have a valid visa or can be sponsored)

• ¥10,000 Staff Accommodation - located in Hirafu, Niseko, Kutchan, or Annupuri.

• Full-time Employment, including paid pre-season training - Work with us from December 1st, 2025, to February 25th, 2026, with the possibility of extending your contract depending on availability and performance.
